Career+ accepts applications twice annually, with members required to complete the mentee or mentor application form.
The matching process seeks to determine the best-fit matches based on expertise, goals and compatibility of mentees and mentors.
Mentee and mentor pairs need not be geographically located close to each other as ongoing contact may be carried out using methods such as video call, telephone, and email.
The mentoring program runs for 6 months, with pairs meeting at least monthly. Mentees and mentors are supported with online mentoring training and resources, program induction webinar and regular contact from the dedicated mentoring program manager.
There are many benefits to joining Career+ and partnering up with a mentor — from the opportunity to gain guidance on professional development and exposure to new ideas and ways of thinking, to expanding your professional network.
Mentors have the opportunity to gain satisfaction from contributing to the profession and mentee progression, as well as staying abreast of emerging issues and developing their leadership skillset.
Participation in Career+ also counts towards your Professional Certification.
For Corporate members it’s a great way to help your team reach their full potential, promoting their personal and professional development in a supportive way.
Career+ is designed to work around your schedule with pairs agreeing when and how they will meet and communicate.
Mentoring helps mentees grow, develop, and achieve their goals by drawing upon the mentor's expertise, experience, and insights.
Mentoring can expand your professional network and career opportunities.
